If you are a fond biker then you also have the possibility to roll on two wheels and explore the winding roads towards the world's highest peaks. we can offer you Royal Enfield and locally available bikes.

Enfield Himalaya. Motorbiking from Delhi to Kathmandu (12Days) 1/11-12.11.2008

Delhi, Taj Mahal, Himalayas, Kathmandu. People, colours, spices, Indian highways and Nepals curvy mountain roads. This all you can experience in our motorbike journey in coming autumn with Royal Enfield Bullet 500 cc.

Day 01: Delhi | Saturday 1/11/2008 Meeting at the hotel in Delhi and welcoming dinner.

Day 02: Delhi - Agra | Early morning wakeup call and after breakfast we will take our bikes and our trip will start. Our first destination is Agra, where we will enjoy sunset in Taj Mahal. Road is one of the best in India and a easy start to come familiar with bikes.

Day 03 Agra- Lucknow | Our longest driving day (350 km) to Lucknow. Road is anyway good highway and pretty fast to drive.

Day 04-06: Lucknow - Lumbini | After breakfast visit to Bara Imambara, a largest building in Lucknow. After Lucknow we will start our journey towards Nepal border and Lord Buddha's birthplace Lumbini. During this 3 days journey we will have breaks and overnight stays in small villages and towns, for example Bara Banki, Faizabad, Basti, Khalilabad, Gorakhbur and Pharenda. Nepal border we will cross in Sonauli and from there we have a short drive to Lumbini.

Day 07: Lumbini - Chitwan| In the morning we will visit remains of Lord Buddha's birthplace and some Buddhist temples, build by different countries. Evening drive to Chitwan National Park.

Day 08: Chitwan | Chill out day in Chitwan National Park, except afternoon we will have elephantride in the park. Rest of the day is free time but there is different activities, what you can do for example elephant bath, bird waching and local cultural program.

Day 09 Chitwan - Pokhara | Today we will start our journey to Pokhara and Himalayas. Road to Pokhara is beautiful mountain road and enjoyable to ride with many curves. Evening we will enjoy dinner next to Phewa lake.

Day 10: Pokhara | Free day. In Pokhara you have a change to see the mountains by tandem paragliding. 30-45 minute flight will cost approximately 100-120 USD. Other option is to drive to Sarangkot, where we will have a great view to Annapurna area if the weather is favourable. You can also go boating to Phewa lake.

Day 11 Pokhara – Katmandu | In the morning you have a change to try paragliding if the weather was bad in previous day. Afternoon we will start our trip to Kathmandu valley. At evening we will say goodbye to our royal bikes and celebrate our trip with a special dinner.

Day 12: Katmandu | After breakfast we will visit Kathmandu Durbar square, where we can find many world heritage destinations, for example old Malla and Shah king's royal palaces. Rest of the day is free for shopping.


If you want to see Mt. Everest, we can arrange a mountain flight, which cost 100-140 USD / person.

We can also arrange your flight back to Delhi. Price will be 150 USD. Extra nights in Kathmandu 25 USD / night
